GETTING AN EAR FOR MUSIC
Growing up, I would always sit and listen to my father playing the guitar. We would listen to Stevie Ray Vaughn and then he would play his own rendition. I was fascinated by music and the emotional attachment that went into each note. However, I never ended up picking up a guitar to learn how to play. I had a different type of music I was yearning to create, electronic.

Being that I am a fire dancer, I have been introduced to electronic music at an early age. This was before it became quite so mainstream. I would use electronic music from different artists to perform my fire dancing. I never felt as if I could fully connect to the music. So I made the executive decision to start making music. It started off strictly for my performances, but then I grew to love it.

Now, it is a steady part of my life. Something that I don't plan on stopping any time soon.
THANK YOU
I just want to say thank you to all of my fans and the people that have supported me. This is a tough, competitive industry full of rejection and frustration, but with a good support system, you can stay strong.

A special thanks to my mother and father who have always believed in me, even when no one else would.

BECOMING A MODEL
When I first started in this industry, I used to love to be behind the camera. I would do makeup/hair and wardrobe styling. Then I started to wonder why I wasn't on the other side of the camera. So I began contacting local photographers to work with so that I could build a portfolio and learn how to model. Most people would tell me the same thing,"You can't be a model. You are too short." However, I had already fallen in love with modeling and was determined to become a professional model.

Eventually, I made my way to Los Angeles. Over and over again, I was rejected by agencies. They would tell me,"If you were 5'8'' you would be a super model." Well, unfortunately, I was far past hitting a growth spurt. Eventually, I became agency represented and started to book bigger jobs. At least once a day, someone will still tell me that I am too short to model. I think that I have officially proven them wrong. I have been agency represented and worked major campaigns.

If you have drive and determination, you can do anything. You have to believe in yourself before someone else will believe in you.
ABOUT ME
I was raised in Wimberley, TX. Most people have never heard of Wimberley, TX. It is actually located 28 miles southwest of Austin. It is a small town where every one knows each other and their entire family. I still remember when we got our first stop light in town. My family is extremely close and most of them still live in Texas. After high school, I went to college at Texas State University where I studied PR and Marketing. It wasn't long into my college career that I decided to pursue modeling full time. I took a leap, and became the rebel of the family and moved out of state. Over the years, I have lived in Charleston, Saratoga Springs, New York, and now Los Angeles. I am still eager to live other places, especially abroad. My modeling has taken me into other art forms such as acting, music, and retouching. I am excited to see where my career takes me from here.
